Note

This page lists significant changes made to the project. Most of the updates are first announced in our main Main FrontPage, but this page serves as a historic roadmap to show how far we progressed.

FMS_v1.3.0 (2026-08-16)

This is the biggest release in Fliteca history.

It is also the release where our redesign journey finally comes to an end. Over the past releases we have been gradually rebuilding Fliteca screen by screen, and with v1.3 the last remaining corners of the application have been brought over to the Fliteca design language. Every page, dialog, table, button and menu you interact with is now built from our own design system.

On top of that, v1.3 brings integrations with your own systems through alert webhooks, a completely reworked alerts experience, address search on the map, KML support across the board, and a long list of improvements and fixes.

New Features:

  • Alerts redesign - The alert create and edit experience has been rebuilt

    • Alert creation is now a guided step-by-step flow where each step activates as you progress

    • Geo-zones selected for an alert can be previewed directly on a map, and the map can be opened full-screen

    • The geo-zone editor can be opened as a full page for comfortable drawing

    • Emails and notifications can be configured to be sent to different employees under the same alert

  • Alert webhooks - Alerts can now call your own systems directly

    • A new alert action has been added - “Webhook” - alongside the existing email and notification actions

    • Configure your own endpoint with a fully customizable URL, headers and payload

    • Payloads support dynamic placeholders (vehicle name, license plate, notes, geo-zone, timestamp and more) so the receiving system gets exactly the data it expects

    • A full delivery history is available under Company (Fleet) > Webhooks - inspect every delivery, filter and search across all events, and retry failed deliveries

    • Delivery history is retained even after a webhook is edited or removed

  • Alert cooldown - Alerts now support a configurable cooldown period (5 minutes by default)

    • Vehicles hovering on a geo-zone border no longer generate a stream of duplicate alerts

  • Address and coordinate search in map - Find any location without leaving Fliteca

    • A search box has been added to both the vehicle map and the geo-zone map

    • Search by address, with a country selector to narrow down the results

    • Paste coordinates in almost any common format and Fliteca will detect them automatically

    • Clicking a result drops a marker showing the coordinates and address, which can be kept on the map or cleared at any time

    • Addresss search is a paid feature and might required an elevated subscription for Your usage.

  • Status overview in map sidebar - A status summary has been added above the vehicle list

    • See at a glance how many vehicles are moving, parked, offline and so on

    • Click one or more statuses to filter the list and map

    • On mobile the overview is collapsed by default and opens with a dedicated icon

  • Configurable vehicle name in map - Choose what the map shows as the vehicle’s name

    • Set a priority order between vehicle name, license plate and notes

    • If the preferred field is empty, Fliteca falls back to the next one in your list

  • KML support - Fliteca now speaks KML on top of GPX

    • Vehicle tracks can be exported as KML from the map page - convenient for analysis in Google Earth

    • Geo-zones and entire geo-zone groups can be exported to KML

    • Geo-zones can be imported from KML and GPX files - GPX tracks become line type geo-zones and GPX waypoints become circular geo-zones

  • Jimi IoT JC181 camera support - Support for Jimi IoT JC181 cameras has been completed

    • Location data sent by the camera is now decoded and stored reliably, including speed and the camera’s additional data fields

    • Select “Jimi IoT Camera” as the tracker type when creating a tracker

Improvements:

  • The redesign is complete - The last parts of Fliteca that were still using the old look have been rebuilt in the Fliteca design language

    • Underneath, every shared building block has been rebuilt as well - dialogs, tables, buttons, menus, tabs, wizards, paginators, toggles, dropdowns, chips, dividers, icons and notification toasts

    • This means consistent spacing, colors, typography and behavior everywhere - a button, table or dialog now looks and behaves the same regardless of the page you are on

    • As a side effect the application ships less code, so pages load and respond noticeably faster

  • Dashboard redesign - The dashboard has been rebuilt in the new Fliteca design language

    • Charts have been reworked for a cleaner and more readable look

    • Received data points chart has been moved under the Fleet menu

  • SIM page redesign - The SIM card view has been reorganised

    • The summary card has been split into a coverage gauge with the plan change action, and the remaining SIM details

    • Monthly and total data usage have been merged into a single full-width chart with a period selector

    • The layout stacks cleanly on mobile

  • Map layer selector - The layer selector has been redesigned into a card-style menu with previews

    • The layer icon is now available on iPhone and iPad, where it previously did not appear

  • Map performance - Switching and interacting with vehicle groups is now responsive even on fleets with a very large number of vehicles

  • Hide map “jumps” - A new experimental setting hides the track line between two points that are further apart than a configurable distance, so occasional GPS jumps no longer distort your tracks

  • Unassigned tracker notifications - Trackers without a vehicle are no longer reported one notification at a time

    • A single active notification now shows how many trackers are still unassigned and stays until the situation is resolved

    • The notification has an action button leading straight to the tracker list

    • Trackers without an assigned vehicle are marked with a warning icon in the tracker table

  • Optional vehicle details - Only the vehicle name is mandatory when creating a vehicle

    • Manufacturer, model, license plate and other fields are optional, which makes Fliteca a better fit for asset trackers

  • Tracker import - Bulk import from Excel now supports T5 trackers

  • Geo-zone alert emails - Alert emails now state the exact time the event happened and use the current Fliteca logo

  • Invitations - Invitation emails state the date and time until which the invitation is valid, and opening an expired invitation link now explains clearly that it has expired

  • Notification permissions - System level notifications, such as an accepted invitation, are now delivered only to the manager and the employee who sent the invitation

  • Vehicle CSV export - Export your vehicles to CSV using the same column layout accepted by the vehicle name import

  • GPRS command bulk delete - Delete all pending and queued commands at once instead of removing them one by one

  • Reorderable columns in tracker data - Drag columns into the order that suits you in the tracker data table

Bugfixes:

  • Registration now warns that an email is already in use instead of silently sending a confirmation email

  • Registration confirmation links work correctly when opened while logged in to another company

  • Trip auto-detection no longer stops processing a vehicle after certain data packets

  • Fixed an IO decoder rule that could reject valid GNSS data when a tracker reported an invalid value

  • Exported GPX archives no longer fail to unzip

  • Newly created GPRS commands appear in the table immediately, without needing a page refresh

  • Several iOS and Android map issues have been resolved - misplaced controls, the coordinate menu now opens on a long press, and misrendered checkboxes and radio buttons have been fixed

  • The vehicle page now fits fully on smaller phone screens

  • The permissions page now fits on a Full HD screen

  • SIM page charts no longer flash and re-animate while a coverage change is in progress

  • Vehicle groups left without any vehicles are now cleaned up automatically

FMS_v1.2.0 (2026-05-31)

FMS_v1.1.0 (2026-03-04)

New Features:

  • Vehicle trips - Automatic trip detection v1 has been developed!

    • View trips of your vehicle (Moving/Parked/Offline) on the map

    • A new action in vehicle card with a route icon opens an additional sidebar for viewimg/filtering trips by date time

    • When clicking on a trip - the entire trip track from point A to point B will be displayed on the map and zoomed into frame for easier viewing

  • Push notification suport

    • When selecting alerts to notify by notification - push notifications will also be sent for that alert to mobile application viewers

    • Remember to enable access to push notifications for the Flitea application in the system settings of your mobile device

  • Geo-zone groups - Introduced the ability to manage geo zones by groups

    • Geo-zones table in geo-zone map has been redesigned te reflect grouped geo-zones

    • A filter has been introduced to filter geo-zones by name or group name

  • Line type geo-zones - Support for line type geo-zones has been introduced

    • Line type geo-zones consist of a line track and a configured (width) for the track.

Improvements:

  • Tracker table displays precise time (minutes and seconds) in “Last activity” column

  • Vehicle page introduced the ability to filter by status (Offline, Parked, Moving, etc.)

  • GPRS commands (Tracker communication)

    • Ability to add an expiration time for a command

    • Ability to send commands for an entire vehicle group (available in vehicle table group management)

  • Map page retains group filter after navigating away to a different page

  • All tables retain their filters after navigating away to a different page

Bugfixes:

  • Graphical analysis page displays timestamps in user time-zone instead of UTC time

FMS_v1.0.0 (2025-12-30)

Fliteca has moved out of the beta and finally reached V1! We feel, that we reached a point where were happy to start sharing Fliteca with the world.

New Features:

  • Graphical analysis redesign - Graphical analysis has been reworked including a few extra capabilities

    • You can now favorite your most commonly used parameters on the device

    • We can now display boolean and enum parameters

    • Data visualization is no longer linear, but under a consistent time scale for X axis

    • Graphs are now mobile friendly!

    • Brush chart is available for a convenient summary view of the entire time range of the selected analysis

Improvements:

  • Tracker page redesign - A wizard flow has been introduced to tracker create page - simplifying tracker creation both for trackers bought from the Official Fliteca shop or already owned ones.

  • Tracker command creation redesign - Redesigned tracker communication to match the new design language

  • GPX export redesign - GPX export window has been reworked - to have a more consistent and user friendly experience

  • Vehicle map improvements - Vehicle map form has received a design cleanup to match the experience of the rest of the application

  • Geo-zones improvements - Geo-zones map has seen a design clean up to match the experience of the rest of the application

  • Alerts redesign - A wizard flow has been introduced to alert create page - ensuring an easy and comprehensive guide for creating alerts

  • Language selector redesign - Language selector has been redesigned to match the design language of the application

  • Table analysis improvements - The filter for vehicle and timestamp has been moved to the header for an easier access for te most utilized fields

  • Nav bar improvements - Nav bar layout has been adjusted - trackers and tracker communication has been moved under the fleet tab

  • SIM card coverage change improvements - Changing the coverage and activating/disabling SIM card now takes minimal amount of time.

Note

The versions below list all of the beta releases that we used for initial validation, feedback and testing of Fliteca application.

FMS_v0.27-beta (2025-10-05)

Improvements:

  • Brand new logo!

    • The new logo has arrived to the Fliteca application!

    • You might have seen this new logo already in the official Fliteca website - but now it has arrived to the application as well.

  • User profile and settings redesign

    • Settings and profile has been merged into a single page and overhauled to match the new design language of Fliteca.

  • Map page

    • Map page performance has been severely improved supporting fleets consisting of hundreds or thousands of trackers!

    • Stability improvements for vehicle list - vehicle statuses should now be always in sync both in list and map

    • Some map tiles are preloaded to avoid instant gray areas when moving around the map

    • Optimizations for filtering - when filtering by group - only the selected vehicles are pulled from the server - this helps improve performance in areas with poor network connection

    • Vehicles with no data yet are not displayed on map (these used to be displayed at coordinates lan/lon: 0/0)

Bugfixes:

  • Improved the stability of company activation behavior after successful invoice payments

  • In tracker command creation - disabled trackers that do not support communications

  • On smaller screens and mobile - navigation bar is automatically closed after navigation

FMS_v0.26-beta (2025-09-07)

Improvements:

  • Vehicle marker redesign

    • Redesigned the markers for vehicles into an all new design to be consistent with the design of the entire application

  • Clustering toggle!

    • Added a toggle for vehicle clustering in map - allowing to view vehicles unclustered

  • Tracing improvements - When clicking on a vehicle in the map list - a trace of the selected vehicle is displayed - The length of the trace is 30 minutes by default - and this length can be configured via user settings - In addition - reduced the zoom into the vehicle when tracking

  • Added the ability to delete vehicles with assigned trackers

    • The assigned tracker will be left with no vehicle

Bugfixes:

  • Vehicle icons in map vehicle list are now consistent with their category

  • When importing a large set of trackers - an unexpected error used to occur

    • This has been fixed and users are now able to import as many trackers as they want at a time (as long as it fits within the subscription bounds)

    • A similar fix has been applied for vehicle import

  • Tracker data table was missing filters - now they have been added back

FMS_v0.25-beta (2025-08-13)

Features:

  • All of the tables have updated design!

    • On our mission to make fliteca more modern and easier to use, we overhauled a lot of UI elements. We aim to create a more consistent design, optimized use of space, improved mobile experience and an overall cleaner look.

    • Look forward for more much more design improvements in the upcoming release(s)!

  • External API - New endpoints: GPRS delete by ID, delete all GPRS commands by vehicle ID, Get vehicle by tracker IMEI

FMS_v0.24-beta (2025-07-06)

Features:

  • Manual invoicing for business customers

    • For security reasons - business clients are not required to fill in their billing information to activate subscriptions

    • Invoices will be sent to configured email adresses

    • Invoice email addresses can be configured under Company (Fleet) > Company information

  • Navigation bar redesign

    • Navigation bar has been redesigned to be more consistent with the new Fliteca design system

    • When zoomed out - vehicles will be clustered into a single marker

    • Vehicle table has been improved - merging model, manufacturer and year columns into a single column

    • Fliteca has added media telematics support!

    • Vehicle media can be viewed in:

      • Vehicle map - when viewing vehicle track, media from the according time range will be displayed along the track

FMS_v.0.16-beta (2024-10-10)

FMS_v.0.13-beta (2024-06-18)

Features:

  • Notifications
    • A bell icon added to the navigation bar next to your profile, giving you quick access to the notification panel. The following notifications are implemented:

      • Unassigned Tracker Notification: Alerts you when a new tracker is created but not yet assigned to a vehicle.

      • Subscription Warning: Reminds you of upcoming subscription expirations.

      • Employee Invitation Success: Notifies existing employees when a new employee finished registration.

Improvements

  • Permission edit - Added the ability to edit the permission itself and merged it with permission assignment into a single view.

  • Login and registration - All login and registration pages have been redesigned to fit the main fliteca.com page

  • Language Selector - When changing language - a confirmation dialog has been added

  • Navigation bar - Analysis and Tracker have been moved to a single “Analysis” tab with two links - Graphical and Table respectively.

    • Previously, the map sometimes zoomed in to Minsk on initial load. This issue has been resolved, and the map now correctly zooms to your current location.
