Note

This page lists significant changes made to the project. Most of the updates are first announced in our main Main FrontPage, but this page serves as a historic roadmap to show how far we progressed.

FMS_v1.0.0 (2025-12-30)

Fliteca has moved out of the beta and finally reached V1! We feel, that we reached a point where were happy to start sharing Fliteca with the world.

New Features:

  • Graphical analysis redesign - Graphical analysis has been reworked including a few extra capabilities

    • You can now favorite your most commonly used parameters on the device

    • We can now display boolean and enum parameters

    • Data visualization is no longer linear, but under a consistent time scale for X axis

    • Graphs are now mobile friendly!

    • Brush chart is available for a convenient summary view of the entire time range of the selected analysis

Improvements:

  • Tracker page redesign - A wizard flow has been introduced to tracker create page - simplifying tracker creation both for trackers bought from the Official Fliteca shop or already owned ones.

  • Tracker command creation redesign - Redesigned tracker communication to match the new design language

  • GPX export redesign - GPX export window has been reworked - to have a more consistent and user friendly experience

  • Vehicle map improvements - Vehicle map form has received a design cleanup to match the experience of the rest of the application

  • Geo-zones improvements - Geo-zones map has seen a design clean up to match the experience of the rest of the application

  • Alerts redesign - A wizard flow has been introduced to alert create page - ensuring an easy and comprehensive guide for creating alerts

  • Language selector redesign - Language selector has been redesigned to match the design language of the application

  • Table analysis improvements - The filter for vehicle and timestamp has been moved to the header for an easier access for te most utilized fields

  • Nav bar improvements - Nav bar layout has been adjusted - trackers and tracker communication has been moved under the fleet tab

  • SIM card coverage change improvements - Changing the coverage and activating/disabling SIM card now takes minimal amount of time.

Note

The versions below list all of the beta releases that we used for initial validation, feedback and testing of Fliteca application.

FMS_v0.27-beta (2025-10-05)

Improvements:

  • Brand new logo!

    • The new logo has arrived to the Fliteca application!

    • You might have seen this new logo already in the official Fliteca website - but now it has arrived to the application as well.

  • User profile and settings redesign

    • Settings and profile has been merged into a single page and overhauled to match the new design language of Fliteca.

  • Map page

    • Map page performance has been severely improved supporting fleets consisting of hundreds or thousands of trackers!

    • Stability improvements for vehicle list - vehicle statuses should now be always in sync both in list and map

    • Some map tiles are preloaded to avoid instant gray areas when moving around the map

    • Optimizations for filtering - when filtering by group - only the selected vehicles are pulled from the server - this helps improve performance in areas with poor network connection

    • Vehicles with no data yet are not displayed on map (these used to be displayed at coordinates lan/lon: 0/0)

Bugfixes:

  • Improved the stability of company activation behavior after successful invoice payments

  • In tracker command creation - disabled trackers that do not support communications

  • On smaller screens and mobile - navigation bar is automatically closed after navigation

FMS_v0.26-beta (2025-09-07)

Improvements:

  • Vehicle marker redesign

    • Redesigned the markers for vehicles into an all new design to be consistent with the design of the entire application

  • Clustering toggle!

    • Added a toggle for vehicle clustering in map - allowing to view vehicles unclustered

  • Tracing improvements - When clicking on a vehicle in the map list - a trace of the selected vehicle is displayed - The length of the trace is 30 minutes by default - and this length can be configured via user settings - In addition - reduced the zoom into the vehicle when tracking

  • Added the ability to delete vehicles with assigned trackers

    • The assigned tracker will be left with no vehicle

Bugfixes:

  • Vehicle icons in map vehicle list are now consistent with their category

  • When importing a large set of trackers - an unexpected error used to occur

    • This has been fixed and users are now able to import as many trackers as they want at a time (as long as it fits within the subscription bounds)

    • A similar fix has been applied for vehicle import

  • Tracker data table was missing filters - now they have been added back

FMS_v0.25-beta (2025-08-13)

Features:

  • All of the tables have updated design!

    • On our mission to make fliteca more modern and easier to use, we overhauled a lot of UI elements. We aim to create a more consistent design, optimized use of space, improved mobile experience and an overall cleaner look.

    • Look forward for more much more design improvements in the upcoming release(s)!

  • External API - New endpoints: GPRS delete by ID, delete all GPRS commands by vehicle ID, Get vehicle by tracker IMEI

  • Tracker table configuration notice

    • Redesigned to match the design of the table

    • Added ability to dismiss the notice

  • GPRS command selection

    • When creating a GPRS command via vehicle map - the selected vehicle will be moved up to the top of the list of available vehicles to command

  • Vehicle and geo-zone maps

    • On load - map zooms into the view of all available (vehicles|geo-zones) on map

  • User settings

    • Due to behavior changes in vehicle and geo-zone maps - map settings section from user settings has been removed completely

FMS_v0.24-beta (2025-07-06)

Features:

  • Manual invoicing for business customers

    • For security reasons - business clients are not required to fill in their billing information to activate subscriptions

    • Invoices will be sent to configured email adresses

    • Invoice email addresses can be configured under Company (Fleet) > Company information

  • Navigation bar redesign

    • Navigation bar has been redesigned to be more consistent with the new Fliteca design system

    • Navigation bar size has been reduced to fit more content on screens both small and big

  • Vehicle clustering

    • Vehicle clustering has been added to the map

    • When zoomed out - vehicles will be clustered into a single marker

    • When zoomed in - the markers will be expanded to show individual vehicles

    • Markers have an outline colored according to the clustered vehicle statuses

  • Geo-zone map

    • Vehicles have been added to the geo-zone map

    • Vehicles can be toggled to show or hide

    • Clicking on a geo-zone row in the geo-zone table will zoom in to the selected geo-zone to fit the screen regardles of the size of the geo-zone

  • Dashboard

    • Vehicle activity widget colors have been updated to match those on the map

  • Vehicle table

    • Vehicle table has been improved - merging model, manufacturer and year columns into a single column

    • Added two columns - last active and status

  • Track name has been exposed to be able to be provided via endpoint in External API GPX export

  • Icons in vehicle create are all now consistent size

FMS_v0.23-beta (2025-06-01)

  • Vehicle group rename in names import

    • Added the ability to update vehicle group in vehicle name update import

  • Vehicle telematics media deletion

    • Added the ability to delete telematics media

    • After requesting a delete - the media will be deleted after 7 days - during the period users can revert the deletion

    • Vehicle creation has been reworked into a wizard to help guide the user through the creation process

    • When filtering by group - only the selected group vehicle markers will be displayed on the map and the markers are zoomed into

  • Employee table

    • Filters have been removed in place for a global filter

    • Employee table rows will have warning icons on the left informing the user if the employee:

      • Has not accepted an invitation to Fliteca yet

      • Does not have an assigned permission

      • Does not have filled in name and/or surname

  • Vehicle map
    • Geo-zones in vehicle map are now less intrusive

      • color changed to a soft gray tone

      • Geo-zone labels now appear only on hover

    • Vehicle label geo-zone and visibility toggles have been moved to the map under zoom in/out controls

    • Vehicle table has been improved with an icon indicating engine ignition status

    • GPX export is now improved with a toggle to exclude the speed parameter from the exported file

      • This new format allows exported GPX files to be used in a wider range of geo-location systems

    • Vehicle visibility toggle is now on a per-user basis

      • The enabled/disable toggle in vehicles now completely hides the disabled vehicle from map and service/fuel reports

  • Vehicle view

    • Vehicle view has received multiple UI tweaks for a more consistent user experience

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed random logout occurrences

  • Changing the tile layer in map no longer resets the map position

FMS_v.0.18-beta (2024-12-27)

Features:

  • Two-factor authentication

    • Ensure security by logging in to fliteca with 2FA

    • 2FA can be enabled in user settings page - security tab

    • The vehicle edit dialog has been overhauled to a page design containing all the necessary information about your vehicle:

FMS_v.0.17-beta (2024-12-02)

  • Vehicle media

    • Fliteca has added media telematics support!

    • Vehicle media can be viewed in:

      • Vehicle map - when viewing vehicle track, media from the according time range will be displayed along the track

      • Vehicle table - open vehicle media from vehicle row menu

      • Vehicle edit - open vehicle media in vehicle edit dialog

  • Permissions - fine grained vehicle access

    • Managers can assign individuals vehicles or vehicle groups to employee permissions

    • If a vehicle group is assigned to permission - any new vehicles added to that group will be available for employees with a permission containing that group

    • Employess with assigned individual vehicles and/or groups will have the following resources filtered that only belong to the assigned vehicles:

    • Users will not be required to login after returning to Fliteca after 24 hours of no use

  • Notifications

    • A red bubble will appear in the browser tab if any unread notifications exist

FMS_v.0.16-beta (2024-10-10)

    • Added the ability to send commands to trackers

    • Tracker command table is located under Management > Communication

    • Tracker commands can also be sent from Tracker table by bulk selecting the tracker you want to send the message to

    • Alert notifications now include the timestamp of tracker data package which caused the alert

FMS_v.0.15-beta (2024-09-15)

Features:

  • Vehicle groups

    • Organize vehicles into groups for easier management

    • Vehicle group can be assigned via the vehicle create/edit dialog or from vehicle table in bulk.

    • Select vehicles to bulk assign to group with checkboxes

    • Editing records in bulk has been added to some of the tables (vehicles, trackers, ,service reports, fuel reports)

    • Bulk actions - Checkboxes have been added to the tables allowing to perform bulk delete and bulk visibility changes in vehicles table

    • Global search - A new search field has been added to all tables, that searches across all unconstrained text columns.

FMS_v.0.13-beta (2024-06-18)

Features:

  • Notifications
    • A bell icon added to the navigation bar next to your profile, giving you quick access to the notification panel. The following notifications are implemented:

      • Unassigned Tracker Notification: Alerts you when a new tracker is created but not yet assigned to a vehicle.

      • Subscription Warning: Reminds you of upcoming subscription expirations.

      • Employee Invitation Success: Notifies existing employees when a new employee finished registration.

Improvements

  • Permission edit - Added the ability to edit the permission itself and merged it with permission assignment into a single view.

  • Login and registration - All login and registration pages have been redesigned to fit the main fliteca.com page

  • Language Selector - When changing language - a confirmation dialog has been added

  • Navigation bar - Analysis and Tracker have been moved to a single “Analysis” tab with two links - Graphical and Table respectively.

Bugfixes:

  • Vehicle map:

    • Previously, the map sometimes zoomed in to Minsk on initial load. This issue has been resolved, and the map now correctly zooms to your current location.

    • When zooming in to the maximum level, the map no longer greys out.

FMS_v.0.12-beta (2024-05-19)

Features:

    • A settings icon has been added to the navigation bar next to profile. This leads to a user settings page

    • The following settings are available to configure:

      • Date and time formatings

      • Map location and zoom level on initial load

      • Experimental map refresh periods and trail lengths

      • Added 2 more note fields

      • Added map enabled/disable toggle which can be bound under Map controls panel. This shows/hides the vehicle in map page accordingly whether it is toggled enabled or disabled. When importing vehicles - this toggle is set to enabled

    • Company subscriptions

      • Added loading animation.

      • Finalized subscription details to match with main website.

    • Record receiver

      • Added CRC validation for Teltonika Telematics trackers

      • Added additional protections for IO decoding

FMS_v.0.9-beta (2024-03-24)

    • Now you can control what actions can be performed by selected employees to assigned resources

    • Manager always has a permission to perform any action to any resource

    • If an employee has no assigned permission:

      • Employee will not be able to login

      • Employee row will be colored yellow in employees table

  • Case insensitive search - Search on all string fields are now case insensitive (“A” matches with “a”, “E” matches with “e”, etc).

  • Tracker deletion security added - tracker cannot be deleted if it is assigned to a vehicle

  • On registration/invitation/profile edit - email validation provides feedback on input whether the email is already registered in our system
